  • 1997 – 2003 İstanbul Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi
  • 2003- Şişli Etfal Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde Genel Cerrahi ihtisası
  • Dr. Kesler, 2003 yılında Şişli Etfal Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde Genel Cerrahi ihtisasına başladı.
  • 2009 yılına kadar devam eden eğitim sırasında Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mihmanlı’dan eğitim aldı. Aynı dönemde, 2010 yılı başında Türkiye’de yeni uygulamaya başlayan obezite cerrahisinin öncülerinden Prof. Dr. Halil Coşkun ile çalışma fırsatı buldu.
  • Mecburi hizmetini Kahramanmaraş Yenişehir Devlet Hastanesi’nde tamamladı. Görevi sırasında Endoskopi ünitesi kuruldu ve birçok meslektaşının endoskopi eğitimine katkı sağlandı.
  • Kariyer hayatı boyunca hem gidişat eğitimi hem de Genel Cerrahi uzmanı olarak Laparoskopik Cerrahiye özel ilgi duymuştur.
  • Uzun süre reflü ve tümör ameliyatları gibi ileri laparoskopik cerrahi alanlarında çalışıldıktan sonra İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi’nde obezite cerrahisi konusunda eğitim aldı.
  • Tüp Mide Ameliyatı, Roux En Y Gastrik By-Pass, Mini Gastrik By-Pass gibi obezite ameliyatlarının yanı sıra sıralı özenli iyileştirme (düzeltme) ameliyatı gerçekleştirildi.
  • Son 2 yıldır, modifiye edilmiş bir obezite cerrahisi olan “Kombine Cerrahi” adı verilen yeni bir obezite cerrahisi üzerinde çalışıyor. İlk aktarılanlara göre oldukça iyi sonuçlar elde edilen bu profesyonel uzmanlarla paylaşmaya hazırlanıyor.
